In addition to that, it also emphasises how soci- etal norms and institutional barriers affect female engineering students’ academic and professional journey in general. A comparison has been drawn during the study to gather the difficulties faced by students from different socio-economic backgrounds. This research sheds light on vari- ous intersections of gender, nationality, and academic support in STEM fields for women. The findings are expected to guide the potential initia- tives to improve gender equality and inclusivity in engineering education.
